According to my friend, who guided two Maikos at this event, Maiko is the young Gaysha() about16~20 years old (But, the google told me Maiko and geisha is differ). In ancient time, they do for Japaness nobles such as dance and sing. Nowadays, all Maikos are voluneers and when young, they decide to be Maikos and quit oridinary people's life such as school. They learn and act untill about 20. Then, they got to decide to continue or not.

Very white face attracts the shoot. But, the dance with calm is similar with East Asians traditional one. What I just want Maikos to do is to say anything. They have a voice? If, I want to hear.
Shooting notes
This is my first shoot with brand new D2H. In taking Maikos, it's hard to get good angle because I was with just one 50mm F1.8. Actually, I had with another zoom lenses but, it was hard to use because I didn't use zoom for a long time. Bad lighting made hard to get the white balance but, with just default setting, D2H gave me some great photos.
